The HLA 85 STIHL Lithium-Ion extended reach hedge trimmer offers lightweight, balanced cordless trimming thanks to its brushless, high-efficiency electric motor. It features a variable speed throttle trigger and an articulating gearbox (-45° to 70°) for cutting the tops of hedges and near the ground. The HLA 85 is also extremely quiet and produces zero exhaust emissions – great for working in noise-restricted areas. Best of all, there’s no fuel cost, minimal maintenance and no restrictive extension cords. And like all STIHL battery-powered tools, the HLA 85 offers exceptional run times (up to 11 hours with the AR 900 backpack battery) with no gradual drop in performance.
